Doc Hudson finds Lightning and the others struggling through the raging snowstorm and so he takes them to a barn for shelter where they can spend the night. As they go inside, all the little cars and trucks feel hungry. Unfortunately, Sally isn't able to provide them with food, but luckily some friendly cows offer them warm milk to drink. Doc has managed to save some food for Lightning and Sally. It isn't much, but it's enough to make to it to Dinsford. Doc explains there’s a brown pickup truck whose pet is a grocer. Now that sounds helpful, doesn't it?
Side-note: I'm sorry I couldn't think of anyone to be the cows, so I decided to use them as themselves just like John did.
